Supplemental Educational Services (SES)

Supplemental Educational Services (SES)

Supplemental Educational Services are research-based, extended day programs that are proven to increase student achievement. These tutoring opportunities may be provided by the school system and/or private providers.

To qualify for these free tutoring services, students must be eligible for free or reduced lunch and attend a (Title I) school that has not met AYP for two consecutive years. Currently, these services are only available for students attending Berkmar High School. The 2011-2012 per (eligible) student allocation is $1,315.00.

To enroll your eligible student, please click on the SES Request Form link below to download the form. Once the form has been completed and signed by the parent/guardian, the student may submit it to Ms. Eva Castillo in the (on-site) Parent Center at Berkmar High School. The completed form may also be mailed to:

Ms. Eva Castillo, PISC
Berkmar High School
405 Pleasant Hill Road

The deadline for eligible students who may request SES assistance is
